Ministry to Children

"But Jesus called the children to him and said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'" - Luke 18:16

At Agincourt Pentecostal Church, we are about bringing children to Jesus. Helping them get to know Him. Enabling them to be more like Him. We invite you to join our team in serving our children.

Volunteering with APC Kids - All positions will require the following three steps:

• Fill out volunteer application form
  (complete it on your computer, using Microsoft Word - save, then email to children@apchurch.com) 
• OR, download PDF form to print out and complete by hand
• Come in for a meet and greet with one of our Student Ministries Pastors
• Complete your police check and Plan to Protect training and get plugged in!

Our Sunday 9 & 11 am services
 

Nursery Volunteers (0-12 and 12-24 months)

• Commitment: Bi-weekly or monthly
• Love babies and help parents
• Help create a nurturing environment for the children
• (12-24 months specific) Help to lead certain portions of the Sunday morning program as assigned (bible lesson, crafts, snacks, etc.)

Toddler Volunteers (24-36 downstairs)

• Commitment: Bi-weekly or monthly
• Love toddlers and serve their parents to the best of ones abilities
• Help create a nurturing environment for the children
• Help to lead certain portions of the Sunday morning program as assigned (bible lesson, crafts, snacks, etc.)

 Junior Kindergarden Volunteers (3 & 4 year olds and 4 & 5 year olds)

• Commitment: Bi-weekly or monthly
• Love children and serve their parents to the best of ones abilities
• Help create a nurturing environment for the children
• Help to lead certain portions of the Sunday morning program as assigned (bible lesson, crafts, snacks, etc.)

 
11 AM Specific

Kids Church (grades 1 to 5) Registration Table (kiosk/gym)

• Commitment: Bi-weekly or monthly
• Take attendance of kids as they come in
• Get lists to the teachers
• Help with signing kids out

 
Kids Church (Grades 1 to 5) small group leader

• Commitment: Bi-weekly or monthly
• Love kids and serve their parents to the best of one’s abilities
• Participate with kids during service (worship, games, sitting with them, etc.)
• Teach the given curriculum to the assigned age-group. This will require reading it prior to the Sunday morning.
• Support the Super Church host by keeping children focused

 
Kids Church (Grades 1 to 5) room supervisor

• Commitment: Bi-weekly or monthly
• Help direct traffic in the gym during service time
• Help with resupplying small groups with items as needed
• Supporting the Super Church host by keeping children focus
