Every week Community Connections reaches over 200 people with two stops in the Scarborough area. We give hot meals and groceries in these two communities. Join us at any of the following:
- Tuesday at Chester Le (Pharmacy & Finch area)
- Thursday at Bay Mills (Birchmount & Sheppard area), meeting at APC between 6 to 6:30 PM to load the bus.??
- Bus Team: Creating relationships with the neighbourhood residents by providing for practical and spiritual needs—serving hot meals, distributing groceries, serving up great smiles and warm conversation!
- Daily Bread Food Bank Sorting Team: Every other Monday morning at APC, helping to sort the food for the two communities.
- Food Preparation Team: Preparing the evening meals (meals are needed for 6:15 pm, however they can be prepared in the daytime).
- Bus Drivers: Driving the Community Connections bus to the communities (a “C” license is required—training is provided).
- Crowd Control & Security Team: Helping to keep the lineups orderly, and giving direction as needed (men are needed in particular).??
