The purpose of this seminar is to help couples prepare for marriage by introducing them to key issues that they will be dealing with in marriage. The Marriage Preparation seminar is offered in the spring of each year. Any couple getting married at APC must take this course.
Various pastors and qualified professionals conduct sessions including the following topics: A Biblical View of Marriage, Finances, Roles and Expectations, Communication, Sexuality/Intimacy and Personality Assessment. The course usually runs on a Thursday and Friday evenings and all day Saturday.
Research shows that married couples, who take a Marriage Preparation seminar benefit by being better able to understand marriage, communicate with one another and resolve conflicts.
Our next Marriage Preparation seminar is April 19 to 21, 2012.
Cost is $140 per couple before April 8 ($150 after).
